A WELLBEING businesses wants to help residents in South Ayrshire tackle their anxiety over lockdown and coronavirus.
Jan De Vries had to close down their stores in Prestwick and Troon during the COVID-19
But staff are still on hand to offer support via their website and online chat platforms.
Leo Mitchell-Keay, store manager of Jan de Vries Troon said: “Heightened anxiety is sadly all too common at the moment.
“Ordinarily we’d recommend you pop in store for a quick chat but like many high street shops, we’ve taken the sad decision to temporarily close.
“We are keen to stress however that we are here for you via our website and on our online chat platforms.
“You’ll also find lots of
helpful information and articles to help you cope during lockdown.”
With many people staying connected through the means of video calls in order to still see loved ones.
Leo added: “Humans need to see other human faces to feel right.
“And if all else fails, there’s the good old-fashioned telephone.”
