AN AWARD winning Saltcoats restaurant has been giving back to the key workers bravely serving in our communities.
Madhav Bhandari and his team at Motherland Spice in the town’s Bradshaw Street are renowned for their Indian and Nepalese cuisine and having recently reopened to offer a takeaway service during the current coronavirus pandemic, Madhav decided it was time to give back to those key workers in our local health centres.
Throughout last week, the team from Motherland Spice visited surgeries and health centres in the Three Towns, West Kilbride and Kilwinning to provide them with a delicious lunch.
Madhav said: “It is great to give these businesses this support at this time. We hope all the key workers enjoyed the lunches and hope they keep safe and well in this difficult time.”
Motherland Spice was named amongst the best15 Indian restaurants in the country by our sister paper the Glasgow Herald last year.
