A THEATRE company based in Ardrossan is encouraging residents to get creative at home amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Capall Dorcha has been forced to suspend all of its youth theatre classes due to the COVID-19 crisis.

Despite this, creative learning officer Betty Valencia is keen to continue the work of the company and get people thinking creatively.

Creative challenges are now being posted on the Capall Dorcha Facebook page regularly.

Last week’s challenges were to produce a feel good music playlist and to record your own monologue from the point of view of a pet or object in your home.

Betty said: “I’m really missing getting to teach all the amazing classes we run at Capall Dorcha and seeing all the smiling faces.

“I’m excited to say we will be posting some creative challenges that you can do from home.”

She added: “These will be posted a couple of times a week and you can take part as much or as little as you like.”
