Give Blood Scotland recently cancelled various blood donation sessions due to their blood stocks being exceptionally healthy.
After the overwhelming generosity of blood donors in Scotland, they currently have enough blood stocked and no longer need to hold the blood donation session that was set to take place in Ayr on Tuesday, April 7.
Although the session has been cancelled, people will still have the chance to donate in the near future.
You can find the dates of the upcoming blood donation sessions here.
Blood scotland apologise for any inconvience this may cause and thank you for your continuous support during this difficult time.

Scotland is in lockdown. Shops are closing and newspaper sales are falling fast. We're not exaggerating when we say that the future of the Ayr Advertiser, and the vital local news service we've provided since 1803, is under threat.
Please consider supporting the Ayr Advertiser in whatever way you can – by paying just 90p for a copy of the paper, when you're shopping for essential supplies for yourself and others, or by subscribing to our e-edition here.
Thanks – and stay safe.
