A SUCCESSFUL coffee morning was organised by the 1st Troon Boys Brigade in Troon Old Parish Church.
The main attraction was a home baking stall with a mouthwatering selection of items on offer.
There was also a tuck shop with some tempting treats on sale. The band also entertained customers and passers-by as they performed a wide selection of tunes. An impressive total of £549.50 was raised. This will help boost their funds. In all, 80 to 90 people attended the event.
The group are staging a fundraising ceilidh in Troon Old Parish Church next Saturday, March 28, from 7.30pm until midnight. Music comes from Sultans of Fling. Tickets, priced £5 are available from band members, band practices and Words and Music in Portland Street.
