SOUTH Ayrshire Council have launched a new scheme to gauge public opinion on the services their leisure facilities offer.

In a bid to understand what they’re doing well and what can still be improved upon, the local authorities sport and leisure department will be the hubs for people to give their views as part of their plans to improve customer engagement.

These opinion containers will be available in the council’s pools at the Citadel, Troon, Prestwick and Maybole.

A spokesperson said: “As part of our plans to improve customer engagement with sport and leisure South Ayrshire, we have introduced suggestion boxes and comment cards at our pool facilities.

“We aim to give customers, members and service users more options to communicate with us.

“The feedback that’s given will help assist the sport and leisure team in developing services and the quality of service provided to help improve customer satisfaction.”

As well as these hand-written cards available to locals who use the facilities, people can also get in contact by emailing leisure.bookings@south-ayrshire.gov.uk.

There is also a section on the South Ayrshire Council website called ‘Listening to you’ where the public can make their views clear.
