THE Spa at a famous South Ayrshire hotel is to undergo a multi-million-pound makeover.

Trump Turnberry has marked another milestone in its investment programme by splashing out a massive £4.25million on its well-renowned spa.

The facility is temporarily closed while the work is carried out.

The hotel resort are hoping the new spa will provide more exciting, contemporary offerings within Turnberry House.

It will be officially unveiled later this month – with a selection of innovative new treatments and ESPA modern alchemy experiences on offer.

Well-known company ESPA have enjoyed a long-running working relationship with the South Ayrshire landmark, joining forces in 1991 to launch the world’s first ESPA Spa.

The revamp will also see the renovation of the resort’s infinity pool which looks out to the iconic Ailsa Craig and Arran.

It will also include the introduction of an infinity whirlpool which will help complete the leisure facility.

Ralph Porciani, general manager at Turnberry, said: “The restoration of our world-renowned spa and the creation of a true wellness journey is the next exciting step in the overall investment in the resort.
