POLICE have re-appealed for information to find a missing Ayr man three weeks on from when he vanished.
Officers are looking to trace Michael Webster who was reported missing from his home on Wednesday, January 29.
Enquiries have so far have established he was in the Dingwall area of Ross-shire on Wednesday, February 5 and travelled to Ullapool later the same day.
It is believed that he may have travelled to Stornoway on the evening ferry.
He is described as being six foot tall, of medium build with brown hair.
He is a keen walker and is known to camp out or sleep rough.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers are keen to establish that he is safe and well. Anyone who may have seen or had any contact with Michael at any time since he was last seen is asked to make contact."
"If Michael himself sees this then please get in touch - we only want to ensure you are safe and well.
"Anyone with information as to Michael’s whereabouts should contact 101 and quote incident no 2450 of 5 February, 2020."
