A man has been held in custody and woman bailed after appearing in court for alleged involvement in an assault.
Darren Jones, 33, faced two charges of alleged assault to severe injury when he appeared from custody at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court on Friday, February 14.
Catherine Wilson, 33, was charged with alleged assault to severe injury, threatening or abusive behaviour and assaulting or impeding police.
Both Jones and Wilson, whose addresses were listed as Irvine, entered no plea when they appeared in private at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court.
The pair were both committed for further examination with Jones remanded in custody, while Wilson was released on bail.
They are to return to the same court at a later date.
