PUPILS and parents turned out in force for the Muirhead Primary School Burns Supper.
The traditional fayre of haggis, neeps and tatties was sampled.
We had the customary Address to the Haggis, Address to the Toothache, Toast to the Lassies and the Reply to that toast.
There was also music from the bagpipes and songs including Sam the Skull.
Proceedings then got even livelier with a performance of the Canadian Barn Dance.
There was a performance of A Red, Red Rose and we had a version of the Selkirk Grace.
It was all a fitting tribute to the Bard from Alloway.
Teacher Iain Lindsay said: “The Burns Supper was a success and it was organised by the P7 class.
“Thanks goes to everyone who supported the evening.”
