AYRSHIRE commuters have been battered by snow this morning as storm Ciara continues to cause disruption.
Heavy snowfall has hit the M77 with motorists facing delays as a yellow warning has been issued for further snow later on today.
The main route between Ayrshire and Glasgow was a white wash, as drivers face difficult conditions.
Stagecoach West who operate services across Ayrshire issued advice for commuters to 'plan in advance'.
They posted on their Twitter: "We are aware the weather conditions are getting worse in the following areas: Muirkirk Patna Dalmellington M77 to and from Glasgow Please plan in advance and keep an eye on our twitter feed for the most up to date information."
