PREPARATIONS are ongoing at Troon Coastal Rowing Club for the annual winter service of both St Ayles skiffs.
However in the meantime the club continue to get out on the water with two crews recently taking advantage of a break in the festive weather to make their way around Lady Isle.
A hardy group of club members also gathered at Troon Yacht Haven slipway on New Year’s Day to welcome in the new decade with a much appreciated hot drink. Thanks to the hospitality of Troon Yacht Haven Troon Coastal Rowing Club can row in almost all weathers.
Rowing sessions are held at Troon Yacht Haven slipway every Wednesday and Saturday at 10am, and there is also a 2pm session on Sundays.
