A PRESTWICK community group is celebrating a landmark with a special event next month.
Friends of the Broadway Prestwick are staging a film show to mark the first anniversary of opening up the group to members.
They will screen Mary Poppins Returns - the 2018 smash hit - at the Parkstone Hotel on Sunday, February 16.
The group is raising money to try and establish a cinema for the community at the old Broadway cinema.
Organisers wanted another “family friendly” event, to bring lots of people together. It was an opportunity to renew their annual membership (£2) and it’s a chance for new members to join.
The tickets are free, and you can also turn up on the day, subject to seating availability.
