Doonfoot primary
KIND Children from Doonfoot primary gave a special gift to elderly residents at a nursing home for Christmas.
The pupils from primary seven donated a hamper packed full of treats to Redford nursing home in Alloway on behalf of Friends of Doonfoot.
It comes after some of the kids have been visiting the nursing home throughout the year and this is something we want to build on for the community.
The Electric bakery in Prestwick also helped with a discount on tasty goods and a customer gave a donation whilst they were in the shop.
Depute Headteacher Mr Baird went along as the children put smiles on the residents faces when they delivered the Hamper.
