Wee ones enjoyed singing songs and learning rhymes in a special class.

The Bookbug session at Coylton Primary engaged with parents and their children on the importance of song to promote language and literacy.

The early years group enjoyed learning whilst having fun, building social skills and supporting their speech development.

The schools holds the special classes regularly, with another scheduled for next Monday.

There are lots of Bookbug sessions locally and details can be found on the Scottish Book Trust’s website.
