The Ayrshire Hospice held their fifth annual Light up a Life Christmas Concert at the weekend in the Concert Hall in Troon.

It was a special evening, attended by over 450 people, with memorable performances from Cantanti, Salvation Army Band, Marr College pupils Cameron Watson and Olivia Burnham, Scott Watson, Lilian O’ Pray, Quintessential, Forehill Primary School, Pipers from 1st Troon BB Pipe Band, Olive Lindsay and Ron Swanson.

The event was kindly sponsored by Aero Fastener Co., Inc. with The Cook School Scotland donating mince pies for all guests at the event and Garrocher Tree Farm kindly donating a beautiful Christmas tree for the stage.

The hospice was delighted to welcome Lucy and Steve Fawcett who have kindly supported this year’s Light up a Life appeal in loving memory of Lucy’s Mum, Kay who was cared for in the hospice.

Lyn Bateman, Senior Fundraising Officer at the Ayrshire Hospice said: “Our fifth annual concert was another special night and provided a wonderful opportunity for many people to come together as a community and share in remembering loved ones.

“We were thrilled with the turnout and hope everyone enjoyed a great night of music. We are extremely fortunate and grateful that our hospice is so well supported, particularly at Christmas time and would like to thank everyone who attended, volunteered and supported the event - thank you for making today matter!”
