A GIRVAN care home has put out a plea for volunteer minibus drivers to come forward.
Hillcrest Care Home are a local registered charity support elderly folk and the staff in Hillcrest McConnel Square in the town.
They are seeking people who would be willing to volunteer to drive to help with the tasks they fulfil for the people they care for.
They are looking for around two people to come forward.
A statement read: “Our main objective is providing a dedicated minibus for Hillcrest taking the residents on outings, to hospital and doctors appointments and shopping.
“The task is not onerous, very rewarding and you would only be called upon on occasion and when you are available.”
Training would be provided by the charity.
