WARTIME memories were brought alive by Kincaidston Primary School pupils last week.
The P4-7 classes took part in a World War Two project, which culminated in a VE Day tea dance and also a singalong.
Themes of the project included the Home Front for the younger recruits and Battles and Politics for the older ones.
On offer at the tea dance were oat biscuits and carrot scones, which were standard fayre during the war.
Among the songs performed were Dame Vera Lynn’s We’ll Meet Again, performed by the choir and We’re Going to Hang out the Washing on the Siegfried Line.
