ONE of the UK’s premier NHS medical bands, The Volatile Agents, are hoping to raise £5,000 for charity at their next show at the O2 Academy in Bournemouth on Friday, January 17 in 2020.

Named after the inhalational gases used in general anaesthesia, the group was formed by doctors from Bournemouth, Poole and Southampton hospitals back in 2007.

Since this time they have played in numerous events throughout the UK (they were regulars at the former Mr Kyps venue in Ashley Cross) raising over £50,000 for a variety of local and national charities. Now they return to support the Royal Bournemouth Hospital which is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year.

Playing an eclectic mix of crowd pleasers and sing-alongs, join them for this fundraising action-packed event incorporating their unique take on music from the last three decades.

All proceeds go to the Bournemouth Hospital Charity, enabling it to continue providing vital support to patients and their families in the local area. The Volatile Agents will be joined by special guests with support from the Chicken Soup Choir bringing brilliantly original arrangements from a diverse selection of artists to warm up the stage.

Standard tickets are £10 and are available through eventbrite.co.uk and searching Volatile Agents. Or for £25 you can purchase the VIP experience, “with balcony access and a number of surprises giving yourself that extra-special night out and raising even more money for a great cause”.
