A FASCINATING trip back in time was on offer to P3 pupils at Kingcase Primary School in Prestwick. They enjoyed a visit from a Roman. Playing the role was Kathryn Purchase from company History Alive. She goes around schools delivering workshops on history topics. They learned about Roman Soldiers, dressed up as them and used shields and swords. They also learned about Roman life and some wore Roman togas.
