KIDS at Struthers Primary School were all dressed up to the nines for Hallowe’en on the big day.
Among the cavalcade of characters appearing at the bash on Thursday, included Ghostbusters characters, witches sporting their brooms, a detective searching for clues, a clown, characters from the Disney movie Frozen and also a skeleton.
Some of the adults also got in on the act as they showed off a variety of imaginative costumes.
There was then a parade round the school, which gave everyone an opportunity to show off their outfits to a captive audience.
After this there was some chill-out time as pupils had an opportunity to take part in a wide selection of games in class before they got ready for some trick or treating in the neighbourhood during the evening.
A prize was on offer to the best dressed pupil in every class but it was hard to judge as all the outfits were pretty impressive.
The party was a welcome distraction from a day of learning and everyone seemed to push the boat out to act the part.
