Children from St Palladius’ Primary School enjoyed a digital learning experience at Dalry Library last week.

The event was part of the library’s Makerspace project, which classes from the school regularly attend to improve their digital literacy.

Last week saw the P2/3 class use ‘coding caterpillars’, which help with learning about sequencing, power tracks for circuit building, and iPads.

Head teacher Mrs Tricia Bela said: “With the coding caterpillars they have to programme them so they can move. They have to follow a route and get them from one place to another. It’s all about problem solving.”
