TROON Round Table are in the final stages of planning their firework display due to take place this coming Saturday, November 2 on Barassie shore-front, writes Stewart McConnell.
It starts with a funfair at 4pm until 9.30pm with the fireworks at 7.30pm. This family friendly event is run by a group of 12 Round Table members and relies on donations from those attending.
People are requested to give generously. Thanks to ABP (Associated British Ports) there will be free parking for more than 200 cars at the Ferry Terminal.
There will be local road restrictions on surrounding streets to keep traffic flowing while maintaining full emergency service access. Thanks to principal sponsor, Hillhouse Group for support.
Also helping are Troon’s Pavilion Café and UPM Caledonian Paper Mill.
