A TEAM of extreme mountain bikers including world famous Danny MacAskill took on rocks at the Ballast Bank in Troon yesterday.
The steep grassy hill which runs onto the rocky beach was used as an arena for the expert bikers who practiced daring stunts as waves battered off the coast.
A local resident Campbell Malone captured the moment they jumped onto the large rocks from the path.
Other footage shows the bikers being battered by waves as they skim over rocks at the far end of the beach.
Danny MacAskill was part of the pack, who look to have enjoyed the challenging terrain.
Campbell told the Advertiser: "All the guys said hello, they were just polite young men who were totally crazy jumping into the rocks from the path."
