MASSIVE support was given to the South Ayrshire Foodbank by Doonfoot Primary School.
Their Harvest Festival celebrations this year involved holding a collection for the South Ayrshire Foodbank and a whopping 750 tins were donated for the invaluable support service.
Pupils, parents and friends and family all chipped in to help.
A Harvest Festival service was due to be held but was called off owing to staff illness.
Head Teacher Caroline Connell was “delighted” with the effort.
And South Ayrshire Foodbank tweeted to the school: “750 tins! Thank you so much to the school and our local community.”
