A NOVEL new scheme has been launched to help spark an interest among children in reading.
Troon Ladies Circle have launched Look for a Book Troon, which involves hiding books around the town. Join the group on Facebook for cryptic clues on where books are hidden, then head to find them.
Once you’ve found and read the book, re-hide it for others to find and share your photos.
A major look for a book event will be staged at Wintertainment on Sunday, November 17 and collection points will be at Blooms, Duncan Butchers, Granny Smiths, Nursery and Cafe 141 for people to donate books for adults and children and especially Christmas books to kick start the festive season
