AN AYR 8-ball pool club raised an impressive and coincidental amount for Whiteleys after a race night.
The club raised £888.88 for the charity which provides an escape for children with terminal or long-term illness and their families.
Whiteleys thanked the 8-ball club for their efforts. A spokesperson said: “Huge thanks to Kirsten Hood and staff at 8 ball club Ayr for putting on a lovely buffet and for their continued support to Whiteleys Retreat. They held a charity race night to raise funds for Whiteleys and raised an impressively ironic £888.88. We love it though. Well done.”
