Pupils, parents and staff at Stanley Primary School raised over £200 for Macmillan Cancer Support with a coffee afternoon.

The fundraiser on Thursday, September 26 was organised by teacher Mr Poole and the Parental Engagement Committee.

Teachers and children took part in a fun bake-off contest, which saw P5 pupil, Nathan Guffie, crowned the winner. The eight-year-old won the competition after impressing judges with his Dumbo cake.

Mr Poole wished to say thank you to all the parents, kids and staff for their donated baking and to Balloons by H who gifted balloons to decorate the hall.
