A BELFAST man is appealing to find long lost family who grew up in Ayrshire.

Kenneth Payne, 73, is seeking younger cousins Christopher Payne and Duncan Payne, who grew up in the area after his uncle George moved to Scotland.

Kenneth says he believes Christopher and Duncan would be maybe in their thirties or forties.

He said their last known address was Ladies Walk, in Drongan, after previously living in Low Road in Ayr.

Kenneth Payne told the Chronicle: “In my family tree it’s only those two left other than I and my sister.

My daddy’s parents came from Armagh and then when my grandad and granny died the family split and moved everywhere, my uncle went to Scotland and my mum to London, they’re all dead now.

“Their mother and father, my uncle and aunt, they lived in Low Rd, he died 20 years ago.

“My uncle George back in 1953, he must have been about 19 and he wanted my dad to let me come over for a holiday but he said no.

“I’ve never seen them at all. If I could get in contact with Duncan or Christopher that would be something.”
