HE might not be a chart-topper or be seen as hip or trendy, but Jo Jingles attracted one of the biggest audiences at Live@Troon.

More than 200 youngsters plus 300 mums, dads, grans, grandads, aunties and uncles packed the Town Hall for Big Jo’s annual visit to Ayrshire.

Everyone danced and sang all of Jo’s favourite songs and there was some outstanding accompaniment on bells, maracas and tambourine.

On s weekend when we saw headliners like Kyle Falconer from chart-topping band the View and fast-rising Tom McGuire and the Brassholes, a Glasgow group who look to have a bright future.

And like any pop superstar, Jo was happy to meet his fans at the end for a photo session.

Susan Elder, franchisee at Jo Jingles Ayrshire, said: “Big Jo’s visit to Live@Troon is always a highlight and we are delighted so many people turned up to sing and dance with us.”

Jo Jingles Ayrshire run weekly classes all over Ayrshire including Ayr, Troon, Prestwick, Kilmarnock, Irvine, Coylton and Stevenson.

Classes are suitable for children aged from three months to pre-schoolers and they welcome new members to their ranks.
