AN AYR hairdressers is raising cash to help people and their families who are suffering with motor neurone disease after the death of Fernando Ricksen.
Vogue hair and beauty salon on the High Street will be donating all the proceeds earned from wash and blow dry's until the end of the month to the Motor Neurone Disease Association.
The salon posted a message on their Facebook after the news that former Rangers player Ricksen, 43, had died from the 'heart breaking' illness.
They said: "VOGUE team have decided to donate all proceeds from every single Wash & Blow Dry until the end of the month to MNDA in aid of Motor Neurone Disease.
"This is an heart breaking life destroying illness that shatters families. MNDA help improve care and support for people with MND, their families and carers."
"All Blow Drys with Ellie and Sophie are £10."
