A COMMUNITY group want to develop a new safe walk and cyle path which will link Ayr to Girvan with Culzean Castle as its centre piece.

The ‘Culzean Way’ is being fronted by South Ayrshire Paths Initiative (SAPI) who want to see easy and safe access along the spectacular South Ayrshire coastline which can be used by walkers, joggers and cyclists.

The aim is to create an all weather path that will link up communities and open up non-motorised access to attractions along the coastline.

SAPI also aim to use the former railway line of Maidens and Dunure as part of the plans.
