SOUTH Ayrshire Ramblers on Saturday, September 14 invite you to join them on an easy nine-mile walk at Neilston.

The route starts from the Kingston Road car park, and quickly gives open views as it rises gradually along a woodland path on the lower slopes of Neilston Pad, with a view of Snypes Dam.

Some minor road walking follows, with views of Glanderston Dam, before returning to Neilston. Please meet at Prestwick Town station car park at 8.50am for a 9am departure.

On September 15, Ayr and District Rambling Club head to the village of Dailly for a fairly easy six-mile walk with some moderate uphill sections. Starting from the centre of the village, the route initially goes close to the Lindsayston Burn, then past Whitehill Farm, continuing with a gentle climb to the summit of the Barony Hill.

The return is through Glengee and Poundland Woods and back along the Water of Girvan to Dailly. Meet at the Mill Brae car park at 8.50am for a 9am departure.
