Man arrested in connection with serious assault on 62-year-old in Ayr
A MAN has been arrested following an assualt in Ayr left a 62-year-old man with serious injuries.
A 59-year-old man has been arrested an charged after the incident at River Street/ Bridges area of Ayr on Sunday.
Detectives had appealed for information after the assault left a 62-year-old with head injuries and received treatement in Ayr hospital.
The man is expected to appear at Ayr Sheriff Court today.
