Ayr College mark the 50th anniversary of moon landings with 'Meet the Astronaut' night
AYR College hosted a ‘Meet the Astronaut’ night on Tuesday, August 27 to mark the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 missions.
Organised by Scottish Enterprise to inspire the next generation, former NASA astronauts Mike Baker and Rick Heib spoke to over 250 people about their out of this world experiences.
Fiona Clark of Scottish Enterprise said “we are delighted to be able to work with The Scottish Space School Foundation and NASA to bring astronauts and scientists to Ayrshire College to inspire the young people of Ayrshire.”
