A NUMBER of roads are expected to be closed in Ayr when it hosts this year’s Go! Festival.
Police have warned locals to expect some of the town’s main roads to be disrupted while the event takes place on Saturday, September 7.
Starting at 1pm, the plan is to close some roads before the running starts and open the road as soon as the last competitor has cleared each road junction at around 7pm. There will still be access for emergency vehicles. Arrangements will also be made to provide access for care providers.
