Fort Street, Ayr was closed off
A ROAD has been closed off in Ayr due to stonework crumbling off a building causing a safety concern.
Police confirmed they received a report on the hazard at a tenement building in Fort Street on Sunday, August 11.
This resulted in the area concerned being fenced off as a precaution.
The roadway had been closed for a short time to facilitate this.
