THE 30th annual Dundonald Highland Games took place at the weekend.
The event, which was hosted in the park below the picturesque Dundonald Castle, was a great day had by all with plenty of fun fair activities for the kids to enjoy, as well as some adult fun in the beer tent.
The Chieftain of the Games, 1st Dundonald Boys Brigade Captain, Kevin McAulay, opened the games after the procession through the village.
Ahead of the highly anticipated Highland Games event, several other activities took place during the week.
These included a 10K road race, a pet show, an adult football tournament and a ceilidh.
The walking treasure hunt also took place throughout the village on Tuesday, July 30, and despite the rain pouring down it didn’t stop the fun.
