ANIMAL Welfare charity the Scottish SPCA have advised residents of South Ayrshire to look out for wildlife in hot weather.
In a campaign poster shared across their social media, they shared some simple tips on how to give local wildlife a helping hand.
Ideas include placing cold water out for birds to drink or bathe in, keep the garden hydrated to help bees and butterflies, leave suitable food out for birds and provide a shaded area in the garden where animals can cool down.
