Shoppers face chaos as tills go down in Asda Irvine
SHOPPERS have been left in limbo as a system failure has meant no checkouts are open at Asda in Irvine.
Tills have been down for around 30 minutes and the issue is believed to be affecting stores across the country.
Irvine shoppers were faced with lengthy queues as all the tills went down this afternoon.
Customers were able to pay at the self-service checkouts but queues trailed back as impatient shoppers waited to purchase their goods.
