A LOCAL community council are offering members of the area to buy personalised bricks.

Saltcoats Community Council are selling the items, which will be displayed in the town on Dockhead Street.

All the bricks are available to be personalised for birthday presents, memorials, business adverts, family names etc.

The cost of one brick is £12, with all of the proceeds raising being put towards future events and projects organised by the community council.

The bricks will be displayed on a wall surrounded by a floral showcase for the public and tourists to enjoy.

There is a simple form to fill out asking for details before asking what you would like to write on the brick and the reason for wanting to buy one.
