A DEDICATED teacher taught her last lesson after a mammoth 40 years at the same school.
Jane Reid left Blacklands Primary in Kilwinning for the last time last week and to celebrated she arranged for an ice cream van to provide cones for whole school and staff on her last day.
The school dedicated the summer show around her, with songs through the decades of her life and shared funny and heart warming memories about her throughout but they still didn’t manage to make her cry.
Jane received messages from past pupils from all over the world and it is estimated she’s taught around 1,000 pupils in the community over the years.
