PRIMARY school pupils had a night to remember as they partied in one of Ayr’s top nightclubs last week at their leavers disco.

Children of Heathfield primary got out the glow sticks and luminous face paint as they headed for a night out in the town at Fury’s.

With mocktails and slushes in full flow, the kids celebrated the end of primary school with a bright and colourful rave at the town centre club.

And it was everything they wanted after they told bemused teachers at the school this was their top destination to have a legendary party.

Headteacher Gaenor Hardy told the Ayr Advertiser: “After a year of hard work, Heathfield’s P7’s celebrated their leavers party at Fury’ nightclub in Ayr. The kids had a great time with tunes blasting by Stephen O’Connor, pizza and mocktails were provided to ensure the kids had a night to remember.

“We asked the p7s what theme they wanted for their end of term disco and they all said they wanted to go to a nightclub, so we hired Fury’s for the night.”

“They had the choice, they done a sponsored events to raise money for their trip and their final night. So it was all from pupil choice.”
