A PENSIONER was arrested last week in connection with drink driving.
The 78-year-old man was allegedly drinking alcohol before driving his car at around 9pm on Thursday, June 27.
After receiving a report, police traced and stopped the man and carried out a roadside breath test which he failed.
He was then arrested and conveyed to Ayr police station where he was later released on an undertaking to appear at Ayr Sheriff Court.
