Ardrossan man admits assault charge
AN ARDROSSAN man has admitted to punching another man in the head.
Joseph Paul Smith, of Broadway , assaulted the man by repeatedly punching him in the head and body to his injury at an address in Garnock Road and Saltcoats Police Station, on April 22 this year.
The 50-year-old appeared at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court last week and was sentenced to 18 months supervision and 200 hours unpaid work.
