Police arrested a man following the report of a theft at a shop in Helensburgh
A MAN has been arrested for allegedly being at a Troon home with intent to commit theft.
The 49-year-old was reported to police after it was reported he was acting suspicious around the home on St Meddans Street on Saturday, June 22.
Officers traced the man after he was sighted around 11pm. He was then arrested and and taken to Ayr Police Station where he was charged.
The man was later released on an undertaking to appear at Ayr Sheriff Court on July 1.
