A group of Fit Ayrshire Dads presented more than £9,000 to the Whiteleys Retreat after members completed the Kiltwalk.
The Ayrshire fitness and mental health support group, founded by Irvine man Kevin Brown, presented a cheque for £9321.12 to the charity which improve the lives of young people suffering cancer with therapeutic short breaks.
A Whiteleys Retreat spokesperson said: “What a lovely morning at Whiteleys with a wonderful group of kindhearted individuals.
“We are extremely humbled by your tenacity to take on the challenge and raise much needed funds. Massive thank you from the charity, the trustees and from each family who will enjoy a respite break thanks to you.
“We hope that your families are proud of you.”
