A NEW training facility for home care workers has opened its doors after moving to a different complex.
The care provider made the move from their Glenmuir Place premises to Highfield Business Centre in St Quivox.
And the move is set to provide fresh opportunities, including the potential to employ more staff and introduce new training facilities.
Local MP and Westminster SNP Health spokesperson Dr Philippa Whitford was the guest of honour.
Dr Whitford said: “I was delighted to formally open the new Ayrshire premises for Cairllum Care. It was great to see round the facility and hear about the work they do.
“With more people living longer we need to significantly expand the provision of good quality care, and attract staff to stay in the profession, so I particularly welcome the training aspects of this development.”
