'Suspicious' man searched and Class A drugs allegedly found
A MAN has been reported for alleged possession of Class A drugs on Friday night, June 7.
Police spotted the 38-year-old behaving suspiciously at around 7.30pm before they approached and searched him at Macadam Square in Ayr.
A police spokesperson said: "Police witnesses were pro-actively patrolling Macadam Square, Ayr when they observed the man acting suspiciously and stopped him.
"He was thereafter searched and found to be in possession of controlled drugs and advised that he was being reported over the matter."
