A STRIPED Tabby cat was knocked down in Glendoune Street in Girvan last Wednesday morning.
However, thanks to the person who accidently hit the poor animal and two kind passers-by, they took it to the vet and knocked on doors to find the owner.
The owner was then located after an appeal from Cats Protection South Ayrshire on social media.
The cat was kept at Allan Jeans Vets in the town until the owner was found.
